Professor Sir Harry Burns, formerly Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, International Public Policy Institute, University of Strathclyde gives the Professor Aidan Halligan Memorial Lecture on the topic of “Epidemics of despair” at the UK Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health’s sixth annual symposium on health, homelessness and multiple exclusion.
The symposium is developed this year by Pathway (the homeless health charity) and the Faculty for Homeless and Inclusion Health with support from Crisis and Lankelly Chase.
The event brings together the latest in evidence and best practice from the UK and abroad in health and public services for homeless people.
The presentations help create a unique digital library of professional development material in the fast developing discipline for homeless health and social services.
